Montepulciano is a medieval hill town in Tuscany, Italy. Surrounded by vineyards, it is known for its Nobile red wine. It is located at 605 meters above sea level, straddling the Valdichiana and Val d'Orcia. Of ancient and long history, Montepulciano has origins from the Etruscan people from the 4th century BC. To see the Piazza Grande, the Corso, the Rectory of San Biagio, the Palazzo Avignonesi.
